As artificial intelligence continues to shape the landscape of higher education, Sabancı University's Foundations Development Directorate (FDD) invites the university community to a timely conversation on what this transformation really means for students and educators alike.
Core Curriculum Keynote 2026 comes at a moment when questions around AI in education are no longer hypothetical but urgent.
On May 7, 2026, Prof. Mutlu Çukurova from University College London will deliver this year's Core Curriculum Keynote, titled "Human–AI Augmentation in Higher Education: Time to Distinguish Performance from Learning." The event will feature a keynote lecture followed by a panel discussion, among Duygu Karaoğlan Altop (FDD), Emre Erol (FDD), Mutlu Çukurova and Yuki Kaneko (FENS).
